A large scale law enforcement center is planned which will incorporate the county sheriff’s offices as well as an expanded jail facility for male and female prisoners. Special video installations in the courtroom and visitation areas ensure secure conditions for inmates at all times. The facility also includes a situation room for county emergencies and a dispatch center. The facility was planned by way of an intense 2 day charrette which included input from owner, law enforcement personnel, lead architects Koch Hazard Architect of Sioux Falls and Bergland + Cram.
