Bergland + Cram collaborated with Grand JiVante to convert their former exercise area into a full service coffee shop. While working closely alongside the Board of Trustees and the facility administrator, B+C designed a welcoming, casual community space – which just happens to be on the Grand JiVante campus. The main goals were to provide an amenity to enhance life for residents, while also becoming a gathering place for the town at large. B+C explored space optimization with minimal impact to existing infrastructure and provided a basic set of drawings to a selected contractor.
